Steve Oversby

Steve is our Treasurer and is from Barnardo's.

Steve has worked in the public and charity sectors for the last 20 years. For the first 10 years Steve worked as a Finance Manager in two large NHS Trusts in the region. From 2000 he moved into the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to become the Assistant Director Finance and Business Development for Barnardo’s who deliver services to children, young people and families across Yorkshire and Humberside. Alongside his financial role, Steve has responsibility to assist in the strategic development of work across the region. Steve is involved with Children England, the network that supports VCS and faith groups working on children and young people issues. He is also studying for an MSc in Charity resource management at Sheffield Hallam University, and hopes to complete by November 2010.
