In addition to the quarterly hard copy newsletter the Forum also provides the following electronic news services. These are available to all members of the Regional Forum.


[YHRFVCOnet] General e-news service for Regional Forum members

YHRFVCOnet provides a forum for the dissemination of news and ideas and discussion of issues among members of the Regional Forum as an important part of the regional voice of the sector. Typical postings include news, policy & funding information, conference and job adverts. As there may be up to 60 postings a month, we offer the option of receiving all the news as single daily digest or just viewing the information as you need on the website. Your subscription is automatic when you join the Forum.


[activepartners] Active Partners e-news

Active Partners network is for officers, workers, volunteers and residents who believe that communities can be effective and powerful partners in regeneration. A place to share news, information, discussion, events and resources about how to encourage community participation that leads to effective regeneration.

EFSnet - the network for voluntary and community organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber region interested in European funding issues.

EFSnet is managed by the Regional Forum, on behalf of the European Funding Services Consortium. Consortium members are the Regional Forum, Charities Information Bureau, North Yorkshire Forum for Voluntary Organisations, and Humber Community Partnership.

  • Daily Digest; One single larger e-mail each day, combining all of the news items including a brief list of contents. Good for the busy user who just wishes to skim the information.

  • Web-based Information & Archive Service; On-line access to all of the news items in the database. Ideal for those who don't want e-mails but occasionally like to browse the messages or for anyone else to access the information archives.
