European Funding Service

Between 2000 and 2006 Yorkshire and the Humber will receive nearly £3billion in European Funding. The funding is aimed at regeneration, creating new jobs and promoting employment opportunities for all. Visit the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber website for more details.

The Regional Forum receives financial support from the European Social Fund to provide a free European Funding (Objectives 2 & 3) support service to the third sector in Yorkshire and the Humber. The training, information and project support is provided by our partners in the sub regions:

Humber: Humberside Learning Consortium
North Yorkshire: North Yorkshire Forum for Voluntary Organisations
West Yorkshire: The Charities Information Bureau

The Regional Forum provides the regional support around representation on European Committees, strategy and policy. We also administer the Third Sector Forum which is a voice and information resource for third sector organisations with an interest in European funding.

The South Yorkshire Open Forum is providing similar support independently, under Objective 1, for South Yorkshire.
